Probably the only real bright spot from that game was Samrani and his trying scoring ability. If the eels aren't able to sign at least a decent back for next year should Samrani hold the spot or try Bailey at centre ? Unsure

If no signings come to fruition, you would think Samrani and Simonsson would be competing for a centre spot.
He's pretty solid ish
I like him longterm as a winger, good metre eater, good finisher, and good under the high ball and has some speed.
But he'd be good at centre too. Just agree on a position for him and let him have as many reps there as possible.
He's definitely a talent, haven't focused much on his defensive work at centre but I think he's decent/solid. Catching and passing to put ado carr away is what he needs to develop
Penisni if he can carry this form into next year I'm fine with him on other edge
I stand by my reasoning as to why I don't think he is a centre. He can do everything he does now in the 2nd row. He would be great in that 12 jersey and kick KK back to the bench and bring him on for impact. KK could be great but he has shown he just doesn't have the motor to play 80min week in week out first grade, too many shortcuts when he gets tired.
Definitely keep Samrani at centre.
If we sign a quality centre, he should replace Penisini.
