Sean Russell

Have you believers seen enough yet ?

Worst outside back in the game . Maybe the worst player in the game . Jake Tago showed more in 1 game and had to play outside him . Blokes like him are complete dead weight . He can't even get the basics of the game right what is his ceiling ? There are better players running around in Massey and Tago is proof .

Brad Arthur investing 3 of 4 seasons in his rouse hil rhino buddy is criminal . Him and Dumpster being identified as the guys we need to put time in is an utter sham . Athletically they don't compete at this level and to make it worse Russell has the footy IQ of a gumboot.  It's a disgrace .  Get Brian smith in to sort it out .

  • Russell is fine as depth. Every club needs depth.

He's definitely not top 17 though, he's miles and miles away.

    • He's not fine as depth that's the problem . I could pull up moments he's completely stuffed up in every game his played . At this level back ups are blokes you can have come in and do a competent job . They don't have the strike but they will do a job. Like Tago tonight . Russell is a complete and utter liability in every part of his game  .

    • Harper is better depth

      • Come on mate... that's too far

      • Agreed

  • I honestly thought Russel would be a decent depth player to keep but after watching that game fuck nooo. He has not developed at all since making his debut. Horrible defensive decision and cannot ice a try in any way.

  • Worse centre in the game. Felt sorry for Tago, he got absolutely nothing playing outside him.  Thought he was slightly better on the wing but still wouldn't make any other NRL side. We need an outside back clean out.

  • Terrible performance tonight, poor centre play passing way too early got beaten on the outside which lead to a  break or try he should be moved on

  • To be fair to Dunster he showed great early signs before his injury. Reminded me of Inu. Horrific knee injury though, surprised he made it back at all

"He looks bigger than Twidle to me. Taller anyway.  His contact will improve as he gets stronger and he can use his mobility to find his place at 6.  Coaches can challenge a players defence easier than teaching that natural flair in attack.  "

"1. Ponga
6. Sharpe
7. Brown
9. Smith
That's what the Knights want to do with their spine,  not sure if that's good enough for a premiership but it will get them playing finals"
