It’s well overdue that the club hears directly from its members and fans. For too long, we’ve had a Head of Football who has mismanaged contracts, missed key recruitment targets, allowed homegrown talent to walk, and overseen player acquisitions that simply haven’t delivered.
The message to the club should be clear and unequivocal: we demand better. Our recruitment and retention strategy is failing. It's failing the club, failing the Head Coach and his staff, and failing the players who are being asked to do more with less.
Matt Beach and Jim Sarantinos—how can you stand by and accept the performance of the current Head of Football?
The best time to act was years ago. The next best time is now.
Sack Mark O’Neill!

Well said Mutts. Our recruitment or lack thereof has been left wanting for years now. The buck stops with O'Neill. Just like in coaching if you are not performing you are terminated. We have got a cutting edge world rated centre of excellence, great juniors coming through and a first grade coach, respected and quicklymaking a name for himself. So we do have ingredients to attract players. All we need is someone to make the deal. But who?
Who can actually do it? Who has the authority to be able to ask for his resignation
Jim Sarantinos (CEO) can do it. Matt Beach (Chairman) can demand that the CEO do it.
By not acting, they're both saying they're happy with his performance. Blows my mind!
The club won't listen because they have no football experience, even if they got rid of him they wouldn't know who to replace him with.
He won't be sacked, who are we kidding? He's gonna announce another Junior upgrade give him time.
And here we are, a Stadium attendance record yesterday, as long as people continue to turn up ,NOTHING will be done.
Well from the NRL's perspective, that's a key measure of success. In attendance and viewership, there's not much more the NRL want from Parra. We already generate plenty of cash for them. Even from the club's perspective, winning a Grand Final doesn't move the needle by much - Parra fans are already spending their money on membership, game attendance and merchandise. It then becomes a balance of effort input for Premiership success verses the output of financial success.
The thing that's missing in all this are the fans unfortunately. We are the victims of pure business decisions. We are demaning Premiership success, but that doesn't necessarily correspond to the business goals of the NRL and even our own club. Without a crop of exceptional juniors who remain loyal to our club, I can't see any way out of this predicament.
I vote to sack O'neill asap. If not Sarantinos can go aswell. O'neill is asleep at the wheel, whilst other clubs not only raiders out jnrs, but beat him to the punch on every high level signing, not to mention the contracts he has totally stuffed up like Dylan Brown's and many others.
This club is run by absolute imbeciles, Whilst Shane Richardson remains without a club
Your speaking in code Mutts which actually means he's safe as houses and the club aren't moving him 😂.
Team's roster did not improve in the last +10 years MON was head of R&R. Wondering how he survived while BA did not. He was able to recruit players that other clubs have discarded and were unsuccesful in the players we have targetted. Sadly, we will continue missing on good players because of MON.
Here's a breakdown of signings since O'Neil started at Parra:
