Ryles the Super Coach

So the supercoach has come up with run hard, tackle hard. The play book for any U13 dad coach. No shape,no defensive structure and no attacking plays at all.In the first time since watching the game 1977 I have turned a Parra game off.Ryles offers absolutely nothing on either side of the ball and definitely not attracting players to the club.Even the basket case Dragons have signed Keo, Drinkwater and Sami.WTF are we doing.Pretty much the same as Arthurs with no offloads.Rubbish.Not even close to adapting to the way the game is played now.Sack Ryles.

    • Scott Wisemantel runs our attack.
Agreed about Ryles and his realisation about how poorly our football dept is being managed.

      • Both Brown and Wisemantal. Brown works with sound and Wisemental with backs.

        • Is it actually Wisemental ? As if it is that might account for some of the Eels problems

          • Yes Ryles said Wisemantal works with backs and comes up with some wacky structures that Brown sometimes says no to.

  • We're putting the worst 17 in the comp out on the field at the moment and competing hard. All we can ask really.

I think some of the recruitment and retention is bewildering like most others here. Guymer isn't a first grader and i'm not sure he ever will be anything more than an absolute plodder. Like yes he's young but you see if guys with his limited skill set just have that absolute dog in them to compete and not lose. He doesnt. He gets run straight over repeatedly even by guys like Lehi Hopoate who was flat footed. He just lacks attention to detail in his game and that dawg attitude someone like him needs. To think people likened him to Liam Martin coming through the grades. Hes more like Ozempic Alvaro.

Penisni much like the above. Runs hard but just doesnt nail the fundmentals and his defence is atrocious. If the entire game was a run it straight challenge he'd be good but as we've said on here before hes a union player playing league. Guys like these 2 with such limited upside being walk up  starts for your team isn't good.

    • 100 % agree Snottie

    • No idea how guymer is in the team let alone a starting role. He is no where near first grade material.

    • Guymer looks very unfit for a bloke so young...Yet the whole team looks really under done in fitness levels and mental resilience..Maybe it's these repeat sets and having to defend more than the opposition.

  • Ryles is lucky we are missing 13 players. Thats all I'll say.

    • Well Round 13 will be big for him as up to 5 players return after bye.
