Good interview. Seems like Ryles is happy with the status quo.
That might buy him another year or two at most. If I were him I'd be as active as I can in the player market.
Our jnrs will get pillaged once we have another two clubs come in, so he shouldnt be resting on his laurels - we don't have another 10 years like BA had.

Club is already locking up juniors long term. My understanding is we have more signing extensions coming down the pipeline beyond the introduction of the new clubs.
"Lock up" in the NRL means SFA and you know it. Unless these juniors are guaranteed top 30 or starting spots in their favourite positions they'll agitate for a release whenever they want ... invariably they'll get it
Under the old regime that was a strong possibility, a small group of players signed on irresponsible contracts of course is going to deter youth from remaining at the club. Ryles said it himself that we are prioritizing opportunities from within amongst our youth. This is the way forward.
he did say in the interview focus on locing up juniors and some re-signings so sounds like we are about to get some recruitment news. I uess it is rumoured about ryley extension but maybe a few others too?
Interesitng reponse on the talyn situation, didnt really answer. with news of Luai being out tonight and api going to 7 and talyn starting we will all see what he has as a starting 9!
Interesting stat that we only won 7 games last year and we're at 5 for this season. Will be interesting to see how we go for the last third of the season. On average a rookie coach tends to only add one more win compared to the season before their arrival.
Ryles needs some firepower to help him. The way he's talking he's essentially rebuilding the entire club from the ground up. It's a mammoth task and it can't be all down to the head coach. I applaud his ambition and I really love the core of what he wants to achieve. I hope he gets some assistance.

"Reed and Moses do not get on, you will get no support from him and he does not compliment Rylie in any fashion.
PS I know Mahoney went to Moses wedding, may have been ackward for him not to be invited. Everyone has had someone come to their wedding…"
"💯
No point trying to do the Knights a favour. Start giving Jo-Ash more game time and see how he handles it. That will give an indication on whether we need to go out hard to find a 5/8 next year or beyond. "

Jesh Frank, you're starting to sound like Coryn, But him years??? Mate , cmon
Mate he doesn't seem urgent enough and a bit blase'.
He thinks he knows what he's doing I get it, but history suggests relying on rejects and jnrs has never been the building blocks for success
We need a few good signings and ATM the club and Ryles seem too relaxed. With another few clubs coming I know I wouldn't be.
