Do you think you have seen enough to declare Ryles is going to be s good coach?, it's a resounding yes from me. I declared early on that he will be the coach to end out premiership drought and that feeling has only been reinforced as the season has progressed. It's a bold statement but I'm sticking to it.

The turnaround of the team from last year is incredible. We knew this year would be a write-off, but he has the players believing they can beat the top teams - and that's exactly what they are doing now. With a full preseason to build on what they have learnt this year, we can expect better things next year.
Yes he can!
The real test will be next year when the pressure is back on & some more expectations to perform
Spot on, he hasn't been under any real pressure yet, that will come. There will be tough times i have no doubt but he has shown he is a smart operator and can get his players to perform to their best rather than just coasting.
Yes, he still hasn't got close to a full roster yet either. But his years of assistant work has him ready. Eels very lucky to land him in the end tbh
I wasn't a big fan of the decision at the time, me being a gen x'r wanted an experienced hard edge coach but I've come to realise that style doesn't work with the now generation of players. I have no shame in admitting I was wrong.
I'm leaning to the definitely can coach side. We'll know more half way through next season after all the teams review our playing style and see what they come up with. But Ryles already seems to have a plan B and C so that's a plus. He definitely has the players following him and that was always going to be important. Definite positive signs moving forward
How good is our defence after a single off-season, whoever has worked on the structure whether it'd be Moa or Ryles has done an unreal job
Been massive. Still conceeded 4 tries today though. Penisni and Lomax still have some work to do on their combination
That's the biggest improvement, great systems in place and the squad is buying- also big emphasis on skills in the preseason and its showing on the field- also good recruitment Williams, JAC, Dylan Walker and Da Silva will only get better- Riley great tonight
The Eels are playing a brand of football that they haven't played in since the 80's.
They are playing smart, tough and trusting in the man next to them no matter who it is. I think Ryle's is the coach the Eels need.
