      • Yea true but I don't think Lussick will make a difference

        • He is a different style Hooker than Hands but Hands is more steady. But as you say better off just starting Smith as the starting Hooker gets 20 min spell and thats it.

        • Hands has not been good at all and I think its the right move to start lussick,  smith isn't an 80 min player at this level yet.

There seems to be a clear message from ryles, he is going to priorities youth over experience if the experience isn't performing.  The fact that Russell made way for addo Carr and not samrani indicates this, not that Russell was playing bad but we know what his ceiling is and that's a back up player at best.

            • Are you always a fuckwit or just when you post on here you dumb cunt

  • Can't honestly see JAC making that much difference. Really need some good signings. Lane, Offa, Lussick all below average as is Paulo, Brown is too busy counting down the year and the $$ and has his mind elsewhere. Very average side. Really need a few X Factor, mongrel type players to make any dent in this year's premiership. Could take at least 2 years or longer to turn all this around

    • Eels 13 plus

    • JAC should make a huge difference. Russell and Penisini together are a massive liability

  • Fox wont win it for us. But last week if we scored from one of the many opportunities in the first half it could have been a different game. Interested to see how hawkins goes and at least we know the fox can finish

    • Fingers crossed Hawkins is better than he looked last week in Reggie's. He didn't look like a bloke sufficient for the NRL. Maybe just settling in to a new club. I still hold reservations considering Bennett didn't offer him a contract and went for the young kid from Manly and Sullivan.

A swap deal is not impossible. The issue is that while there may be legal leverage, Lomax remains a risky exchange and likely a temporary sugar hit.
If I were another club, I would not want to lose long term quality players for him, as…"
