RWL Playing Ratings : winning team ave vs Parra's ave

how much faith do people put in the league week player ratings / team totals?

just wondering if we were to take the average winning team total (sum of 17 player ratings out of 10), work out parras ave team total for the year to give us an idea how much below the winning average score parra is in 2013?

then possibly add in the new recruits for next year and substitute their average score for a departing player (ie Peats in for Keating) to see how 2014 parramatta 17 would compare to the average winning total for 2013?

Hopate's case maybe apply ave of 7

Mossop ave 6

Peats ave will be a little lower at back end of season due to limited game time, maybe apply ave of 6 for him.

hope this makes some sense - i have only had half a beer at this stage... any way this could be an interesting stat fest for a statistic guru.

"There is a very good chance Melbourne just leave it, not worth their while. Yeah they have gone far enough as it is now, but  as you said they are not giving up any players, they have given up enough.
So therefore it is a simple "Well we cannot…"

"The Storm are delaying things. They dont want him enough to swap a player. Next.
The longer it goes on the worse for Lomax. Especially if he is paying his own legal fees."
