Though many would consider both Kiraz and Saab as an improvement over Samrani as a player. Therefore the argument of Samrani should dominate France, well Saab and Kiraz (who is in Origin talk every year) and played 129 and 98 NRL games respectfully, were not good either. Doesn't excuse Samrani entirely, though it adds some consideration.
We need another 2 wingers for next year around the same level as Schiller. Simonson will last 5 games, and from Schiller's history he won't last much longer than that.
On the plus side his big strong and has tackle busting ability. On the negative he has a few errors in him. His a good project to work on. Has plenty of upside.
Alot of people unhappy with this signing he is a good winger who came cheap he isn't a world beater but will definitely do a job if this keep cap space free for a big singing or 2 it's a great signing if we sign Noone then it's terrible let's just wait and see.
I agree about Schiller adding depth and with maybe more development become more than depth.
That said I find the propensity for us to think that "wingers" are a necessary evil and offer nothing.....then we have the eggsperts on here seemingly ignorant that unless you have good wingers, you don't win premierships.
With due respect to Kelly's wonderful season last year (where he filled a hole much better than expected) the fact still exists is he is not a match winner, those stats if he produced them in the second row he would be, but as much as that is an not reality, neither is him being what we need.
Lets join in a silent prayer for JAC being retained at 4.30pm this afternoon.....NB The tone of the room is he will be leaving us, as that happens our premiership then rests on us obtaining an elite winger somewhere else. 600k more expensive btw.
Finally and in perspective, why is it being done before Rush gets back, Ryles is out of the room and his second test results are not back....looking at that, maybe there is some hope that they are meeting today.

Kiraz and Saab have played 200 NRL games between them. They are first graders. Every team has players of that standard.

His trashhhh
Defensive is his biggest issue.

Why are people complaining about Schiller? We need back depth. We need numbers.
We are not getting finished articles for this requirement. We need to sign a Best or Bostock, sure, but that's one, what about the rest?
Schiller etc...will do the job.

Our good mate Brett Allen would be chuffed that we've signed a good Jewish lad to the squad.
