      • What about miller and nunn?

  • I hope Debelin starts, and I wish Araz was named instead of Albert. Parra showed they can score points, its our defence which let's us down.

We need to take Manly on up front. In defence going looking for the collision.

  • What worries me for this game is the ref. Same prick we had v the Tigers . 6 again galore, terrible calls all day.
This is why league will never ever be a world game. The refs control the game too much and especially this year depends on who gets the gazillion 6 agains in the first half wins the game. You don't get that shit in soccer..it's either a foul, offside or hand ball.

    • In Flegg against manly last nite we won 52-6 and played as a team. Finally. No-one had a bad game and Kade Moujalli was rated the fans player of the match. Leluai, Talagi, Hudson and Petrus were next best but Cameron Bamblett, even at 6, is a special runner of the ball, cuts thru the centre and makes huge metres and plays tough. in my opinion could make his debut in ist grade next year and should be signed long term.

But after Twidle, who can be sure the club will move to tie him down.

      • Our juniors need to know that if they are good enough they will get the nod over incumbents. This gives them the drive to succeed here, and also puts incumbents on notice.

      • I don't rate Bamblett at 6 at all!! Drives my head in that he is playing 6. He is an out an out fullback to me. He had good moments during the game, but it were plays you expect from a fullback

        • Why don't you rate him at 6. Its better we try him at 6 as you don't want to pidgin hole him to 1, then he leaves because Iongi has the fg spot all tied up.

Having him at 6 is a good move

          • I agree. Bamblett might be better at 1 but the opportunity in our NRL side is at 6. He might as well get as many reps there as he can.

            • Yeah, no harm doing so in Flegg. Particularly defending in front line against players 2-3 years older.

              • Well he can't even defend well in the front line against u19s sg ball so not sure how he can against JF

"He looks bigger than Twidle to me. Taller anyway.  His contact will improve as he gets stronger and he can use his mobility to find his place at 6.  Coaches can challenge a players defence easier than teaching that natural flair in attack.  "

Joel K replied to Muttman's discussion Ponga signs a 5 year extension with Knights
"1. Ponga
6. Sharpe
7. Brown
9. Smith
That's what the Knights want to do with their spine,  not sure if that's good enough for a premiership but it will get them playing finals"
