EA, now that Ball has finished, what is the development comp that the players that don't get promoted to Flegg play? From your reports we a great bunch of forwards coming through, but don't know the systems like you as to what happens next. Hoping that Koina gets promoted and has the inner drive to improve. Hopefully then it's easier to keep him because of his dad's connection with the eels.
HM players will have schoolboy commitments with rugby league or union, same with a couple of the SG ball players like Bloomfield. I think most SG ball players will move up to JF and train with them for the rest of the year even if they dont play a game. They may get some game time in Sydney Shield if they don't make the JF team. I am not sure myslef if there is other systems/comps they play for those who are not in school anymore but not good enough for JF.
Thanks EA. You're a wealth of knowledge and balanced opinions. Keep up the great work
I watched some footage of Koina, he looks the goods. Could be one in 27' we start to keep an eye on in terms of FG. Hopefully he gets some Cup game time late this year.
Koina will get promoted for sure. I expect him to play this week in one of the spots that is not named in the JF teamlist. Kotorac and Nunn a chance too for this week.
Great news if it works for Koina. Any outside backs you think you can cash your ticket on? Sounds like we almost have too many forward prospects. I suppose the cream will rise if there's lots of competition
Lorima Seuseu is a gun but he is only 16 years old. Bloomfield, Sorovi and Rokusuka are talented outside backs that are 18/19 years old. Hopefully they play some JF this year
Thanks again. So it looks like it's up to R&R to plug some holes in the backline to allow this lot a chance to develop. I'll jot these names down and hopefully see some great footy players in a few years
EA, we signed this kiwi prop back in off season and he was on the SG ball list, what happened to him? Faletau I think?
He is at the dragons. Based on the trials he wasn't anything special
