Just the one change to the side that stunned the Broncos. Prop J'maine Hopgood returns from suspension so Jack Williams slides to lock and Jack de Belin goes to the six-man bench for the clash with his former club.

I saw a clip of a dragons fan asking Jack why he was leaving which made him quite upset. Jarryd never took the field against the eels.
I thought if jdb shaved his head he was sweet to play
De Belin coming off the bench will help clean the defense and ruck up a bit.
It can but also the current bench we use is effective as it is.
I feel with de Belin you either start him or don't play him. But Ryles may see him as an asset for the middle portion of the match before Hopgood and Paulo come back on to do the 1% in defence and tidy up so Paulo and Hopgood's workload is limited.
Funny team St George. They show some grit and can score tries but cant go the full 80 minutes in games. I think we need to straighten our attack , send our big boys at their halves and create ruck speed and six agains by taking off with our two hookers, Moses to keep Gutho pinned in corners. Whilst a great defender and great catcher, the lack of speed from Gutho will allow us to really dominate teh field position game. I expect us to win and win well.
One thing's for sure, a fleet footed player like Iongi or Moses will easily get around Gutherson one on one at speed. He's got limited lateral movement. ...and having to turn and chase 😂😂
One thing Dragons don't have is the talent and freakish skills to create something from nothing. They can grind, belt the shit out of you but when it comes to sealing those tight contests late they lack the talent to do it most times.
In 2025 the Dragons had 15 of their 24 matches where the margin was 8 points or less. That's 2/3 of their games being close (whether Dragons won or lose).
Probably gonna be a close game?
