"It’s been pretty clear Ryles identified cultural, attitude, or in some cases physical (age) concerns, and the speed in which he is acting is refreshing.

"Yes, it should always be about the club first. Melbourne instilled that back in 1999. Ryles started with a clean slate at pre-season and you can who stepped up.

"It's Parramatta club, not the players that run it. I do not want to go down the bashing BA route as this was not all his fault, but that was the feel for a long time that the players walked around as if they owned the joint, all about the boys and…"

Newcastle have tried to get so many forwards and failed. Might finally get one by over paying.
I reckon we will give the spoon a good shake from here.
This obsession with next year is fucking the dumbest shit I've ever seen.
1st job as coach is winning.
Squad progression and squad recruiting and retention comes next.
Next year is next year, pick the best players available now to at least get us clear of last place - FFS Ryles you stubborn ass.
I'd at least be playing brown at 6 because he is the best 5/8 at the club for now 😂 so far the teams Ryles has picked have played well but so I'm a bit torn on it. But he could easily name simmo and brown in the side this week and push harder for the win lol
Exactly but let him keep digging.
simmo is not in the 22 ......what's wrong with you guys
💯
Bit worried about purdues speed and of course drinkwater and deardon
it wasnt a worry for Cronulla in the wet. It will be wet Sunday too. No excuse for us.
Dearden is the only one I'm concerned about.
I don't get leaving Dylbro out of this side now. The future may start now but Hawkins is not our future 5/8 either so really, what is the point here?
That Cowboys side looks very decent. wet weather could play a part but on a dry track the Cowboys win this one pretty well.
What has Brown done this season, that Hawkins hasn't? If anything Hawkins at least gives you a player who isn't going to clock out during the game and who at least adds a legitimate second kicking option.
And Ryles hasn't said Joash is our nailed on 5/8 for next season. Just that he'll get a crack at the position.
