Tallyn Da Silva has again been named to start at hooker with Harrison Edwards on the bench but they could swap on game day as they did against the Knights. After returning from a sternum injury in NSW Cup last weekend, hooker Ryley Smith is listed among the reserves. Teancum Brown has been added to the six-man bench in place of Charlie Guymer.

  • Our back 5 are, as a group, very average. Our halves are reserve graders. Our forwards are hit and miss at best.

The best thing is our bench and that's not fantastic.

The Dogs should win easy ...but won't. I think these guys know they are up against it every week and are busting their guts to try to make us fans at least satisfied they are doing as well as they can.

    • Yep as long as the team gives 100% effort then I'll keep cheering for them.

Disappointing that Moses is still out, but it's essentially the same line up as last week which we could have won (against an in form/top 4 side atm) if we had a bit more experience and polish to close it out.

  • Start Harrison at hooker, move Ryley to the bench and TDS to the reserves.

    Dogs by plenty.

    • Whys that,  they made plenty of yards from Ryleys defensive in reserve grade,  just as they did to Lorenzo who looked out of place in that grade.  Better put him in flegg.  He could never stop any offloads.  Forget about Lorenzo at 6 for a few seasons

      • Chief where has the salary cap been spent?

        • That's a question the people in charge of the cap need to answer.

        • I'd love to know the answer to this as well. There must be some very heavy front-loading of contracts

      • TDS is shit defensively, his passing from the ruck is sub par and he has butter fingers.

Smith has a better passing game, better kicking game and he puts pressure on the opposing team's kicker at the end of their set.

    • Only played Harrison for 30mins at hooker then gone. May as well play Riley and TDS if you are not going to use Harrrison as a middle after his stint at hooker.

"That's true. At least Des won them a couple of premierships. Be good to get him back and get him with the cattle.
Bit random but does anyone think Rhyley Smith would go alright playing lock and potentially making a move there"

"We just have to complete above 80; limit errors and defend better and we will win. MOre pressure on them tbh - and I back Sam and Tony over their bench tbh. Make our tackles / hold ball and we are in this one"
