We know so far the Parramatta Eels are playing away from commbank

Vegas- dogs v dragons  - cows v Newcastle

We can't play the Rabbits & Panthers as they are playing away aswell

Tigers is an Easter match so most likely R 4 or 5 not the opening match.

Step 4: Updated possible matchups for Parramatta

  • 1 -Parramatta vs Melbourne

  • 2 -Parramatta vs Cronulla

  • 3 -Parramatta vs Dolphins

  • 4 -Parramatta vs Roosters

  • 5- Parramatta vs Manly

  • 6- Parramatta vs Canberra

  • 7- Parramatta vs Gold Coast Titans

  • 8  Parramatta vs New Zealand Warriors

  • 9- Parramatta vs Brisbane Broncos

So all of these could theoretically host Parramatta.

  • It's gonna be a parra v broncos rd 1 game

  • Warriors away

    • wouldn't make sense

      • Well I mean we could play Brisbane at anytime during 2026 and it would rate well regardless how both teams are going.

Warriors doesn't have to make sense.

  • What's the chance we have a Bye.

    • Never 0% but also slim.

  • I say Canberra away

  • I saw a headline that yhe draw had been leaked and the eels, bunnies and dogs have a horror draw.

    • I saw that as well

even happier that Moses had no role overseas

      we need him firing

at a glance I think ( if my right ) is there Matilda games mb at commbank as well 🤔

    • The draw hasn't been leaked or released.  It was speculation, click bait headline saying Sydney teams had a horror draw, all because they will be forced to play away from home for couple weeks while women's asia cup soccer is on.

Last I checked 2 or 3 away games to start a season isn't a horror draw because upsets in the first few weeks are normal so is there really a horror start of season draw beyond playing Melbourne round 1.

With extended end of year rep footy, the premiers travelling for world cup challenge and other teams going to Vegas some clubs have shorter pre seasons and flipping a coin for tips in the first 5 weeks is probably a safer bet then any expert analysis.

Injuries are the other big ?? early in the season which makes tipping a nightmare as players go down mid game due to lack of match fitness.  The only certainty in early rounds is the headlines calling for the end of preseason games as a few players are wiped out for extended periods
