Ryles states he is is no rush to make signings! I am sorry, but we have an L plate coach who sees no rush? Really, we are second last on a ladder. We will be lucky to avoid the spoon. Unless something changes we have no change on last season, despite the fact that I do see improvements in the squad, but we are still way off the mark. I am stunned by this statement and we must have so much money available for the right players to improve this squad yet we appear to be doing risky squat! I truly hope there are some things going on in the background but if we keep status quo, we are in a word of pain for years to come. The fact that we still have no decent replacement for Dylan Brown says it all. I am getting beyond frustrated. We lack serious impact forwards and a quality 6 and centre. Are we just sitting and hoping or is the Club going to come up with something? One concerned and frustrated life long eels fan here.

Garage sale or Wheelie Bin Wiz 😂😂
Salvos if we are lucky. Although hand-me-downs seems to be our favoured option.
I read somewhere that the Bears going to hard for David Fifita and Tino with big Mal as coach i say that go to
We need to have a talk to Tino when November come as is will to walk out titans for next year with a pay rise
Issue is $1.5mil plus for a Lock/Prop is not great for cap balance. Perth need Tino as the face of the franchice. For Tino it is all about money. He has a premiership ring, has played for QLD and Aus, now is going to cash in.
How do you know ryles hasn't signed anyone? Unlike some clubs he may choose to keep things quiet. Relax signings will come.
It seems that the Eels have become tighter with their $$$ and are enjoying building a huge bank account balance for their retirement funds instead of buying some players
I often question whether this clubs goals is to win a comp or to make money . Once upon a time making money was a byproduct of winning a comp, now I question whether our bean counters may believe winning a comp would cost too much money. Whilst it seems unfathomable that a club wouldn't put winning a comp before everything else , is it really that unthinkable to ponder a bunch of bean counters who aren't Eels diehards , buying the cheapest coach, saving as much money on players and being content with high membership numbers , good ticket sales and buying moneyball players ?
Our whole coaching staff are Temu type salary appointments.
Yep can't argue with that. Everything about our recent appointments scream cheap ass.
The Temu Eels 🤣 Sounds about right. Wouldn't be surprised if they're the next big sponsors providing cheap jerseys that rip after 1 game disposable
You have to spend 95% of your cap every season. There is no building a huge bank account balance as the value doesn't roll over each year.
