Recruitment

I cannot believe some of the Eels recruitment purchase. Hodgson is over the hill and is obviously causing lack of harmony by his style. Doorey has previous injuries that were bound to happen as is Hodgson. Murchie is average, Makaslower is average, Blake is below average, Simonsen is below average, Skidrow (Sivo) is average, Matto loves his money and the only decent purchase has been Hopgood. To much reliance on RCG and Paulo combined with extremely poor recruitment. They have to stop watching 'Moneyball' and purchase some decent players or the Eels will be waiting another 36 years for a premiership.

    • replace everyone with has-beens and never was', unproven juniors (from every other club), peptide cheats and thieves, that will work

      • Start with the dumb commenters first. 1. Da Rock 2. BrissyFlip 3. Meelk etc....

      • Better than purchasing 'has beens' like recruitment has been doing

  • I'll be long gone by the time this club gets it's act together and actually wins anything.

First thing first, fuck off BA like yesterday then bring in a new coaching team that can introduce some new systems and a fresh set of eyes.

Preferably someone like Flanagan. Don't care who agrees with me but IMO he can deliver.

    • Flannagan is the reason Manly are going well and not the other turkey Siebold

    • Can you suggest some? Ryles maybe

    • I second that.

    • Flannagan is head coach at Manly. Don't let his title fool you.

      • Why would Manly pay NrL coach money for Seabold only to let Flanno be the head guy and why would Flanno accept assistant money only to do all the work as head coach and let Seabold take the credit for the team ?

You get that makes no sense yeah ? Why wouldn't Manky simply save a shitload of money and hire Flanno as head coach ?
