Recruitment

I cannot believe some of the Eels recruitment purchase. Hodgson is over the hill and is obviously causing lack of harmony by his style. Doorey has previous injuries that were bound to happen as is Hodgson. Murchie is average, Makaslower is average, Blake is below average, Simonsen is below average, Skidrow (Sivo) is average, Matto loves his money and the only decent purchase has been Hopgood. To much reliance on RCG and Paulo combined with extremely poor recruitment. They have to stop watching 'Moneyball' and purchase some decent players or the Eels will be waiting another 36 years for a premiership.

                    • Very strange how when BrissyFlip was absent so was Da Rock but now they're both ( if 2) back at same time. That's very strange 🤔

                  • 1 and same I reckon

              • Go check the medical journals Rock.

                • Just using your stats chief...or did you forget you wrote it???

          • Gutho plays a different position forwards and hookers are more likely due their positions. In saying that however, Gutho is 1 of the few lucky ones. Perhaps his injury wasn't as bad

            • Wrong - backs are more susceptible to acl recurrences due to them being required to make more lateral movements anc changes of direction at  speed than a forward.

the acl actually gives the knee lateral support, thus when you see a player do an acl, they can sometimes walk off until they need to change direction.

do some research yourself and you may learn something instead of just parroting random "facts"

              • That's debatable

                • Where's your evidence/research to show that? Again you don't know much but happy to peddle random shit they can't be supported.
I happen to work in and around elite level athletes and see it first hand.

                  • What much I do know is that you don't know much like your double FlipDolphin

            •

Ohhh and further, an acl rupture is an acl

rupture - there are no good ones or bad ones, they all involve the rupturing of the ligament.

it's the recovery and rehab process that determines the outcome. If shortcuts are made, there is a higher possibility of re-injury, players coming back too early increases the chances of recurrence
