Raiders fans turn on Sticky

Couldn't resist this but found this on the Raiders website under the banner: SACK STUART. Made me laugh

"Well I knew he was going to be **** from the get go but let start it off.... After what would have to be the worst first half of any team in over 100 years of Rugby League, in the wet which should have given them LESS points, he has to **** go... Sorry but that is **** end game... At least with Furner he was making some of the right calls on team selection, just couldn't get them to work.... Now we have a new coach making **** calls for team selection (Wighton week after week at 5/8 even though he has been terrible) and still the exact same, if not worse, mental issues as now we can't attack for **** either....

Just sack 80% of the team and start over, pathetic bunch of mental **** who have the mental strength of a bowl of weetbixs you leave on the table for an hour..."

Read and weep, Pricky!

  • It was only a matter of time before the Raiders fans worked out what every Roosters, Sharks and Eels fans already knows! The thing is, he has a 7 year contract! Those responsible for siginging RS for 7 years, should resign.
  • I'm submitting my 2 year plan to Furner tonight to take over as the Canberra Raiders head coach.

  • Judging by how Stuart continually manages to hit pay dirt, it seems to me, that all that is required to get a first grade coaching gig with an unsuspecting NRL side, is to:
    1. Make friends in the right places.
    2. Let those friends perpetuate myths about ones prowess.
    3. Make empty promises to anyone and everyone.
    4. Only worry about yourself.
    5. Put in place meaningless long term plans.
    6. Surround yourself with bigger knobs than you, to make yourself look good.
    7. Claim you can attract top line players.
    8. Plan a playing roster clean out after only 8 rounds.
    9. Never take the blame for losing or poor performance.
    10. Blow up at Ref's at every post match conference to deflect blame.
    11. When in doubt just bullshit, lie, bullshit and lie.
    12. Use family to take the heat off you.

If all else fails, you can always get a gig in the media.
    • ha Frank. Sounds about right and 1-6 seems to work just as well for Dum Dum Abbott.

  • Don't think its 7 years think its 3 year contract.

  • I just realised about the title...'RAIDERS FANS TURN ON STICKY'...what, they were turned on by him? LOL or did they plugged him into a power point and switched him on? Snapper, you did it again you fool

    • I thought the title had comedic value too but all my quips were a bit sick or rude.

Glad you thought the same snapper.

  • Zero tackle says 3 yrs. I remember the talk of 7 yrs but could be a extension in his favour. Are Canberra that dumb?

    • The answer is yes, poaching him in the first place shows how clueless they were.

"It's why freight is commonplace, and often a win-win. RCG & Waqa moved to the Eels after Ivan Cleary returned to the Panthers in 2019 (Gus gone). Despite being in contract, they were subsequently offloaded with freight paid for by the Panthers."
