Eels sign James Schiller from Newcastle.
Favourites to sign Bradman Best
Will pivot to Jack Bostock if unsuccessful and will have to fight with the Sharks and the Dragons for his signature

Our good mate Brett Allen would be chuffed that we've signed a good Jewish lad to the squad.
Schiller's highlights show him playing both right centre and left wing. Fairly fast (many long range tries), tall (aerial threat; highlights have tries from catching kicks), and quite a large frame for such a tall and fast outside back.
Given the Eels have almost no depth in the outside backs, a big, tall and fast outside back who has first grade experience (multiple clubs) and can play either side of the field seems a good buy. A bit of a journeyman across multiple clubs so obviously there is some issue leading to him not nailing down a permanent first grade spot.
