"Hopefully end of 26 Macron deal ends and we jump on the Adidas bandwagon like the Roosters. "
"I really liked that 2010 strip. We should have a combination of the 86 jersey and that 2010 jersey as either home or heritage."
"Love this one, I think we will use this design and the captains run short from this season to refresh our Home jersey for 2027. We will also have a new away too, hopefully Adidas have a look at us and produce something very special. "

The one thing though that I will say is the only bit of this whole saga that has pissed me off without obviously getting caught is that once we were caught we had an opportunity to own up to our mistakes, take ownership and "beg" for leniency which would have resulted in a lighter penalty but instead we fought it to the very end and took no accountability for our actions, the board were toast from the minute they got caught and the right thing to do was to try and help move the club forward but instead they were only interested in keeping the lies going and put themselves before the fans and the club.
Nah, I disagree - you're still a murderer and tax evader even if you don't get caught. The key is that you only get PUNISHED if you get caught. But I do agree the cap is completely ridiculous and needs to be changed.
The gang of five are guilty of failing to take the many opportunities to say 'there were some people here before us that did some crap stuff', we need to sort this out. That is their massive failing - of stopping the free fall into this pile of shit. It's not about the five cheating, it's about them putting their heads in the fucking sand and failing to pull us out of the nose dive once the NRL started banging on the door. But they put themselves first.
The big question is would it have still cost us 12 points in our best season in a very long time?
So let's make one clear distinction here. Just like there is a clear distinction between tax avoidance and tax cheating (ie one you use the rules to your advantage, the second is you break the rules), so too are their legal TPAs and illegal TPAs.
The necessity to go down the illegal TPA route is actually a failure from not being able to execute legitimate TPAs.
Clearly, the Broncos have been highly effective in creating an environment that fosters TPAs. It's fair to argue that there are inherent advantages they have in that regard, but there are many things that a club can do within the rules to give their players the greatest opportunity to land TPAs, like giving them extensive media and speaking training, ensuring as part of their development, they learn to network and keep up their education, and so on. This is good for your brand and it's good for the players and the code.
I'm starting to wonder if there is any such thing as legit TPAs for many players, or at least very significant ones.
Case in point, Foz at signing time last year, his management were not able to source legit TPAs, hence his full contract included in our cap. That was a shock being one of the greats at the time.
TPAs should follow the player not the club, by the rules. Is that correct?
