Hi,

Can anyone please tell me if they have seen signed 1981 & 1982 Premiership Team Photo's on display at Parra Leagues (in the "hall of fame area")?

Do this include Jack's signature & the Trainers, Committee etc?

Really would appreciate your help!

Thanks,

Shellz :)

  • No there wasn't any signed pictures. Just team photos.
  • Thanks for that ColMac, your reply appreciated. :)
  • No problems
  • You're telling me...it is the state of Anarchy (Yes, there's even a place spelt Anakie), corruption & they live AFL all year round! It sucks...hope to move soon!

    And hook turns are easy...

Yeah you keep driving round til you don't have to do one, & then double back!!!

Hook turns are nearly as stupid as the lack of signage & decent roads & hospitals & the pathetic bunch of crooks they call government in this state!!! Don't start me...this place really sucks! :)

  • Depends where you live...I live in an area that has more an indian/asian/middle eastern kind of feel LOL!!!

Most of us that live here can't afford to live anywhere that is safe to walk!!!! Or anywhere closer than say 20 mins to 1 hour away from the city (the figures depend on peak hour & the glorious Westgate bottleneck), that is total BS in a City of this size. The Public Transport in the burbs leaves alot to be desired!

Only came here for work, as I have travelled & lived in 4 states , but this would be the worst state, & the dearest I've ever lived in. I was born in Sydney! :)

  • Nice:)

I used to live in Merrylands! Moved in 1991....to yep, gulp...Queensland...Far North (Cairns) :|

It's the government here that needs arresting the most! They are truly criminal!!! :)

Will NEVER concede to being anything but a NEW SOUTH WELSH PERSON, BLUE THROUGH & THROUGH :)

PS Queensland was far better to live in than Victoria!

  • That's a rather scathing view on an entire city. Apart from the storm and the AFL my experience has been wonderful down here. It's good having a city you an drive around quiote easily. Hook turns are absolutely nothing, people are so worried about them because they're never explained properly and I swear there is probably only 8 in the whole city.

P.s. property is alot cheaper then Sydney!

    Anywho,

    Go parra :)

    • No Rasberry...you didn't read it correctly...it is a scathing view on an ENTIRE STATE, not just the city! Lets get it right!!! THIS PLACE SUX BIG TIME!!!

Drive around easily???? Everywhere I go is bumper to bumper...EVEN THE FREEWAY... are we talking the same place????

Yes, property is a little cheaper if you are prepared to live in the OUTER BURBS!

OR If you can afford to buy property Rasberry?

Cost of living for EVERYTHING else is much higher! Electricity, Gas, Food, Petrol...you name it!

And I wonder why...when our own wonderful Premier is being investigated for CORRUPTION???? WONDER WHERE THE MONEY GOES????

To each his own Rasberry...All I know is that given the chance...I'M THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!!!!

And this place gets my BIGGEST RASPBERRY AWARD!!! :)

Would much rather live in NSW, Queensland or SA ANY DAY (Remembering that I already have lived in these places).

  • LOVE IT....FULLY SIC MATE!!!!

  • I've also lived in multiple states and so far this one definitely has my pick. I live in the city and travel out to work, I don't drive on the eastlink, tight arsenal when it comes to tolls, so I take a slightly longer route to get to my destination, it takes me 45 minutes to drive 49km's to work, I think that's pretty good for a major city.

But as you said, each to their own, I'm not arguing about what state someone likes better on a par range forum, seems irirrelevant.

    Go parra

"Yes, that is what we would have assumed; and with the game quicker, he can start and then have a rest including halftime and come back as needed. We are seriously missing a good defender with Hopgood gone.
I also felt last week when at the game,…"
