  Well how does it give us time to see if Joash can step up? He is more likely playing Fullback in Cup. The best thing with him is to play FG is it not? Lorenzo in Cup would be great for a year and slowly ease him in.
  
  Ryles knows what is going on, hindsight is great but also at the same time not every great coach gets every decision right. I would rather just have Papali'i for a year then when Lorenzo is ready bring him in or let Joash try and keep that spot.

This is why we will never win a comp in the near future, absolute rubbish decision by the club if true. Pezet is not that good where we need him for one year all the while hes keeping one eye on Broncos.

If JR is as serious about EELS culture as he makes out to be then he needs to accept the loss and make do with Joash for 2026

The only way this makes sense is if this lorenzo kid is a prodigy havnt seen any of his footy to get excited over him.

Maybe a deal has been worked out where we get munster in 2027 as bellamy wont be coach.

Its a good move. It gives Lorenzo 12 months to take over in 2027. Not sure where it leaves Joash

Well it looks to be all but set and done now, Pezet 6 next year then most likely Lorenzo in 2027, so our number 6 position should be occupied for the foreseeable future, but we should head into November 1 with our eye on a couple of forwards cause our pack isn't really threatening and we should sort out this Lomax stuff before pre season starts. After this we shouldn't grant him a release at least for next year until our team gets better

Metcalf, Campbell, Pursued and Wishart all available for '27. Why are we chasing Pezet, who is inferior to all these players as a 5/8.
