The lad wants to play nrl he's been in reserve grade for about 4 years at storm, broncos don't have any room at the moment and he'd still be in reserve grade at Storm. He can help us in 2026 that's all I care about 😂

It's not that big a deal . He was signing for Broncos in 2027 regardless and we don't have a 6 for 2026.
It helps us next season while we develop our young halves or hit the market for a 6.
What's the alternative ? Sign a 6 we don't want like Sandon Smith ? Chuck kids in before their time and have another 2025 learning season ?
All going well we are a really competitive side in 2026 and our players get exposure to playing winning football and big games and see where that takes them . 2027 a 6 will come into the side I see no real down side for us . Brisbane have blocked the path of Black ( who they might not rate I don't know ) and signed a 22 year old that's never played more than a few NRL games and had 2 ACLs . It's probably a riskier deal for them than us but also a chance they're sorted at 7 going forward .
Exactly, and look at both teams who made the grand final in 2025. They had halves all over the place to cover injury. Adding Pezet for 2026 does us no harm at all. Doesn't matter if it's a short stay he will help us
