Nah mate the optics aren't great for us it screams second best and we'll get used as a stepping stone.

What's Brent Read's accuracy level? If true, then maybe we are buying time to get Lorenzo ready for 2027. Hope there is a very good reason for Ryles to agree to this.
That's probably the thinking behind it, like Moses does need immediate help and I'd rather have him for 1 season over nothing. If he's going to the broncos anyway might as well use him
Read is close with Anasta who is Pezet's agent. All the FOX jounro's are reporting it. They wouldn't if they didn't have the story straight from Anasta.
Doesn't look like we will be going on the open market for a 6 if this is happening, they would just put Lorenzo Talataina in for 2027. Ryles just using Pezet as a stop gap for a year while he Lorenzo develops
Agree, and hey maybe Joash ends up winning that battle to, he wasn't terrible at 6 without many reps at the spot

I really think it does mean that Ryles has a very high opinion of Lorenzo and Joash, but they are a year off
