What if it works and we go on a run to the 2026 finals, need to give Moses the best shot possible while he is still in decent form. He'll be done in 3-4 years. Pezet can only help our talent level
Our forward pack is not strong enough to win a comp regardless of who the halves are. We still lack a player like Tino.
I do agree but always injuries and weird things happening during the season. Have to give Moses at least a shot with a solid half next to him. Then reassess for 2027. I don't think many of us where sold on Pezet long term as a fit anyway so it's kind of a shot in the dark

Finals footy is different. Forward packs go to the next level. They bash the fuck out of each other for continious weeks. I can't see our current pack matching it next year unless two of our forwards become elite players
EA, our forwards held there own against Broncs, Panthers, Roosters and Melb and the improvement to come is significant.
Tino or his eqivalent don't grow on trees, why cant we grow some of our own. If we get a forward like Tino, well fine, but him and say Paas standout and the hardheads from NZ seem to be staying!
Tavita, Hautonga, Kelmer (if he can get his lateral defence right he has fantastic post contact gains), Guymer, not to mention Willams, Paulo, Hoppy, De Bellin......throw in the best young rake in the game Rylie and TDS, put Walker in there and I have probably missed a few, including young Talagi who has huge wraps and you start to look for a pack that can hold there own.....
De Belin may not be a superstar but he is going to plug that centre of the ruck where we have always been vulnerable.

Well looking at the existing halves that may not be the case. If we go on and make the 2026 finals and Pezet is the reason, how fcuking stupid do we look when he toddles over to the Broncs? You obviously have no faith in our own up and comers and Lorenzo may not even be the one!
This whole attitude belies evertyhing Ryles believes in re the badge and wanting to play for the club!
