This would be a timid and feckless move by our club. Why would we sign a bloke who doesn't want to be a part of the club and is literally just using us to get to where he wants to be? FMD show some integrity and say no.
Still cover if Moses gets hurt and we can use him, no loyalty in sports anymore it's all business.
It's not just purely business. Not if you want to get to the top. Ryles has spent significant energy realigning the culture at Parra. "All for the badge" is the latest mantra. This move flies in the face of all that. The Eels are like the husband buying his wife's boyfriend a Christmas present.
True but it does buy the eels time to assess the market/juniors and other ideas instead of committing long term money to Pezet. Lot of big names hitting the market for 2027 season.
and we will come up with a new way to embarrass ourselves then too, don't worry about that!

Exactly goes against the club first mantra JR is trying to build.Also it makes zero sense to be a stepping stone for supposedly better things in Brisbane.
Maybe parra has their eyes on a better fit ? 👀 who knows has to be a reason behind it
