Michael Chammas mentioned this morning that Papenhuyzen has played his last game for the Storm and that they want to play Pezet at 5/8, shifting Munster to fullback.
I don't see Pezet leaving if there is a 5/8 spot open at the Storm, opposed to the Eels
Talataina it is then

No way hes leaving melb if the deals are anywhere near comparable
In the article it says the money is similar for all three clubs.
I really don't see him leaving the Storm, rarely do they lose these types of contract situations
If thats the case hes staying at melb
Good!
My mail is different.
Pezet to Eels.
I know Munster tested the market but it seems most likely Pezet is on the move with his actions.
The Storm don't let young talent go easily , with Papenhuyzen and Munster undecided with Wishart as well their hands are tied and Pezet wants to prove himself now.
Make no mistake the non selection for the GF would have stung him and he would have made his decision to leave that week.
It makes sense he's signed with the Eels, I got the impression when we missed Galvin ,Ryles was non plussed and he had an ace in his pocket.
Pezet has been his personal preference all along I beleive, which makes more sense with how he used Papalii and his decisions around Brown.
Does he completely compliment Moses , no but it's more then workable and makes a succession plan to Mitch that much more seamless .
Gives us a chance to develop one of our youngsters into a genuine 5/8 which is much easier then finding a top flight halfback.
I see the deal being basically done and it'll be announced once Braith gets back from Bali.
I see us as 10/9 favourites for his signature, with the 360 deals all up in the air it helps our recruitment cause.
He has a strong relationship with Ryles as well and I think storm have been dangling the carrot for Pezet far too long. He should have left a while ago to get his chance at nrl but he's stuck around incase Hughes or Munster move on but it hasn't happend and it might not. Strong chance he takes the opportunity to play next to Mitch Moses as it's a guaranteed spot
