Pezet most likely staying at the Storm

Michael Chammas mentioned this morning that Papenhuyzen has played his last game for the Storm and that they want to play Pezet at 5/8, shifting Munster to fullback.

I don't see Pezet leaving if there is a 5/8 spot open at the Storm, opposed to the Eels

Talataina it is then

  • I'll have to wait and see whether any of that actually happens because I'm struggling to believe that's the case.

  • Munster won't want to play fullback long term. This won't work out, not to mention Munster speed for a 1 is worse than Gutherson. Let them do it 😂

    • It'd only be for a season until he fucks off to WA .  He strikes me as the kind of guy that would play FB if it means Storm keep a player for their future .

    • They have Fa'alogo too, on a similar deal to what Pezet has.

      • Surely Fa'alogo to Fullback if this is the case. Munster isn't as a good a fullback as Fa'alogo. Pezet isn't as good a 5/8 as Munster. Melbourne don't seem the type of team to weaken two positions to fill one spot.

        • They would definitely stitch a player up to ensure they don't lose any talent though. I cannot see Munster playing FB, even for a season. He's way too slow and dynamic, especially compared to Fa'alago. I think Storm are selling Pezet a path and they haven't worked it out yet.

          • Surely the Galvin thing this year is an indicator for young players on what not to do. They realistically had no path worked out either and it monumentally blew up in their faces. Pezet applying his trade, learning off Moses has to be more appealing. Besides, there is a lot happening in the background and Munster has a 50/50 chance of even leaving Melbourne for the Bears anyway. I'm not as convinced her moves to Perth for a year or two to end his career anyway. Rather than be a Storm for Life.

  • Wouldnt be shocked if MON once again lost the deal after the coach did all the hard yards .  Hopefully just more media bullshit trying to fill their daily news slots with anything they possibly can .  He did it to the last coach and itd seriously have to be the end of his job if this ends up beng the case .

    • Well to some Canberra are still the favourites. A few journo's dying on that hill.
