If we put a superstar roster around Moses and a 6 like Luai you'd see Moses guide us to finishing the game strong. He's elite because his kicking game is what makes the other team play twice as harder as we do in set to set plays. What holds us back from being competitive is not having a strong, 13, back rower and the back 5. Add Leniu, Luai, Sua, and a few more could see Moses flourish the game plan more cleanly then some rookies dropping the ball every set we have.
You're right. If we are only using Moses to get us out of trouble every set, how can he take control of the game? Build a solid platform and he will shine.
You put a superstar roster around most halves and they look great.
Morts and Jeff Robson as an example. That paring was like running 100m in the Olympics in a pair of Chuck Taylor's. One of the worst halves pairings in the history on the NRL. Morts winning a comp and someone like Hindy not, is dead set criminal
Moses is one player, he's not going to win us a comp on his own. He's been picked for both Origin and Australia so he's obviously no slouch.
But... given Parra are now on a true rebuild journey, I don't think Moses is our best option given we're going to rebuild for a few seasons and then have our most important player in his twilight years.
We may well be better investing in talented youth who will hit their maximum powers in 3 years time and try to carry us through a potential premiership window.
But I guess it's all a moot point because Moses is signed form the next 3 seasons whether we like it or not. 🤷♂️

If i was Ryles, i would cut that out, laminate it and put it on Moses' locker. Use it. "Look what he is saying about you". Now is Moses at an age where it doesn't penetrate him? Maybe, but use it on him. Remind him what people think and what you can actually do.
Is Moses overpaid? Well only by how many games he has averaged over the last 3 seasons. Is he overrated? Well this year was an off year but 2024 and 2025 when he did play he was dominate most of the time. So no, not overrated.
The only part Moses would get worked up about is if hes not earning 1.5 mil 😂
Considering the end of career highs the likes of CHerry Evans and Reynolds have had, you'd think people would chill on Moses a bit.
Also next year Cleary is off the picture. Moses has the NSW 7 shirt ready for him.
It could be his best year.
Peter badel is as biased as they come when it comes to Moses. Didn't like that he wouldn't bite when being led in interviews. I think if you put Moses in a roster full of superstars like penrit he or roosters he'd have one a premiership.
