    • Poppa, players values are often spoken of subjectively as  we've both found ;) ...actually a pet hate of mine. Next minute  here, Dylan will be on 1.6M ha!

Perhaps this dude is gunning for walker to land at broncs and appears he is talking up the comparison value of the new signing who even has a ring :))

he talks Pezet up is a surprise ha ok

...these days I sometimes wonder if the free press is actually still 'free'

      • @macybrown

        Spot on Mace

    • Ploppa The only person that's ever tried to convince us Moses is on 1.2 is you .  I've said 1.3+ since his last contract , and that's before he gave up his ejector seat clause .  1.5 is very realistic .

      • If it cost a couple hundred grand extra to re-sign without the player option, that shows the value of it in bringing down his price.

        • No, that's the cost of having the clauses removed. Having the clauses raises his value every time the clause comes into effect as it gives him the power to extract more from the club to remain.

          • If it's the cost of having them removed then that was the same discount we got for agreeing to them in the first place. Otherwise we wouldn't have agreed to them. Likewise, if we were giving them away for free, every player would have them. But most players would rather more cash up front than a PO.

            • So you are claiming the players took a discount to have the clauses inserted, this is possible but I doubt it.

The whole purpose of the clauses for the players is to give them bargaining power and stability if they get injured or their form gets so bad no other club would sign them for what they are on.

It's win win for player, lose lose for club. Thank God we got rid of them.

            • Points taken Pou, just the same the discount has to have a starting point from a base and as you and me both know, no one at Parramatta is going to leak his real price and do we actually think that "managers" tell the truth.....amazing thing is that Wiz as an executive soft drink salesman sits in the private boxes and has things blown up his arse that only he could relate to.....surprsingly enough I suspect he doesn't make the front table at Parra, he cannot afford the airfares from Kellyville.

      • Wizard “Alcatraz “Sleeve Strange that you would disagree with me Wiz.....stranger again if you did agree of course.

PS You will always be a strange person to me my sleeveless over hypoboled friend.LOL

  • I don't think hes completely wrong

Moses is both over rated and under rated depending on the day or situation.

He deserves his rep jerseys in saying that if im picking the next best NSW half is Katoea.

If we cut our losses with him for walker it would be the most significant signing in 20 years but wont happen.

"Easy to say that from that loud mouth Badel.  Walker needs a good team around him to be good. Walker at Parra through the years Moses has been at Parra wouldnt have lasted or shone the way he has at the Roosters.  "
