  • I don't think hes completely wrong

Moses is both over rated and under rated depending on the day or situation.

He deserves his rep jerseys in saying that if im picking the next best NSW half is Katoea.

If we cut our losses with him for walker it would be the most significant signing in 20 years but wont happen.

  • he is on 1.3. was 1.2 and went up to 1.3 to take out the clauses.  I agree with Badel, Moses has won us nothing and plays good sticking to the structure but when he plays eyes up he is a headless chook. his running game has gone backwards and Volkman on 1/3 of his wage is more dangerous then Moses. Everyone gushes over his kicking that goes straight to the fullback or winger and they make 10 or more metres on return. Auther said he was free to leave if he can find another club when he was the half with Norman we would of been better off if he left, would of had better players now with the money we would of saved. Has never been worth 1mil and never will.

    • This is one of the dumbest takes I've read on here for quite some time. No, we wouldn't have been better off if Moses left.

  • Aust v Fiji had around 380 kicking mtrs, Moses kicking is worth $$$$$, unfortunately that's about it.

  • Badel has the IQ of a field mouse and the footy brain of a door knob. Put Walker, Cleary, Cherry Evans in the Parra side and we still run bottom of the table the last few years with our roster. The Roosters won a premiership with Cherry Evans playing the perfect foil when Walkers game unravelled.

  • I think Moses is worth it. He has showed it in rep footy recently. His kicking game, management and composure are elite. Those are the most important traits in a halfback to win you the big games. Yes his highlight reels are slowly disappearing. But you put him in a good side, who have the creative players and he is one of the halfbacks you want steering the team.

  • Badel is an F-wit.

What does he exoect Moses to do when he is surrounded by some very average players? Sam Walker played in a team full of Origin players. Our only Origin player is Moses. What can he win on his own? The one shot we did have was against the 2022 Panthers which Nathan Cleary has said was the best team from the 4 years in a row

  • Sam Walker, the bloke that has a 30m "long" kick..

Moses might be a bit overrated but Walker is not better then him

  • If we put a superstar roster around Moses and a 6 like Luai you'd see Moses guide us to finishing the game strong. He's elite because his kicking game is what makes the other team play twice as harder as we do in set to set plays. What holds us back from being competitive is not having a strong, 13, back rower and the back 5. Add Leniu, Luai, Sua, and a few more could see Moses flourish the game plan more cleanly then some rookies dropping the ball every set we have.

    • You're right. If we are only using Moses to get us out of trouble every set, how can he take control of the game? Build a solid platform and he will shine.

"Moses is one player, he's not going to win us a comp on his own. He's been picked for both Origin and Australia so he's obviously no slouch.
But... given Parra are now on a true rebuild journey, I don't think Moses is our best option given we're…"
