EXPECT to see Nathan Cayless in and around Parramatta on weekdays once he retires from football at the end of this season.
The Eels skipper has long been wary of life after football and has worked on a casual basis with Ray Wehbe Real Estate in Parramatta over four years.
Yet Cayless, 32, is about to show he is serious about property after he told the Advertiser he would accept a job with commercial agency Colliers International, also in Parramatta.
`Caylo’, who already has his real estate licence, said he found working in the industry interesting.
``You’re building relationships with people and talking to people,’’ he said.
``I find that pretty easy and I’m comfortable with people.
``So I’m really looking forward to that.’‘
Cayless has never held what he called a ``real job’‘, as he progressed from Parramatta Marist to full-time rugby league.
The father of three lives with his family in West Pennant Hills, but said that was the limit of his own property portfolio.
``We don’t get paid that well,’’ he said.

From what i've heard, it's not even close to that figure.
That's why I don't buy arguments about footballers only having a short time span in which to earn, once they build a profile they can continue to earn off that for life.
