I have no idea what Matto is like as a person away from the game - but far out he has managed to make his reputation absolute trash within the game. For someone with the potential and talent that he has to be this unwanted by clubs and universally disliked by fans of the game to the point that he's almost a meme...he is either incapable of listening to good advice, or he is surrounded by people giving him terrible advice.
I can't wait for him to be on someone elses team.
Well it got to a point where leaving Parra first then leaving Wests then the contract situation using Dolphins as bait, which is common, then taking the suspension over a fine seemed to be the final straw.
I have no clue what happened at Warrington, whether they wanted someone short term only, he wanted to come home or something they saw they didn't like.
If he had a proper mentor/coach at the time of his dumb choices, he would never have gotten into that ridiculous situation. Credit to bushie arthur he not only farked the club but he made an absolute fool of himself in not advising Matterson properly
Under Bellamy, Bennett or Ryles he would have never taken the 4 match suspension
