    Sound logic Wiz, and even if Newy don't have the coin to keep Best we aren't going to be the only ones trying to sign him so I agree it'll be an overs on dollars, overs on contract length and (god forbid) possibly some options in his contract that favour the player.

    Apparently his fiancée and her family are all Eels fans. But also wants to move to Sydney. But with new roads as they are, driving to Sydney from Newcastle is not as bad as it used to be.

      Well his father in law is an ex Eels Reggie's great 😂 Think he was a hooker by memory , but I saw him play once and they'd stuck him on the wing right in front of us.
      
      In an interview he said he grew up as a Newtown fan and then converted to Eels after they got punted.

        The is an aunt and uncle there too, I think the knew the best family and decided to throw their chips in with them, hence the name Uncle Jack and Aunty Dorothy, they have a fish n chip shop at Little Coogee and they are offering waterfront eating out......lot's of people are renowned for eating out, ask Wiz about eating out in Phuket and the Illawarra bikies.

  Spot on, the teams in contention all have multiple threats. It's too easy to shut down one star player.

My only issue is he does get injured but never too long. He has averaged around 18 NRL games a season since 2022.

And he turned 25 this year. So has another 5+ years at the top if not more.

He's worth the million in my view. I'd get him AND Blaize. Blaize can cover fullback and halves too, and likes of Penisini and Samrani could use competition.
