Litreally our strongest part of our 1-17 is our bench and that says something. 🚮 geniuanlly how is this team gonna win games,our top 30 is more then 50%cup players at best.you can blame our garbage reccuriment and retention team.#GET THEM OUT

I'm not sure what's up with Smith but his form this year hasn't been what it was in 2025. Added to that are his limited minutes. He was getting 80mins before Da Silva arrived. Then when Da Silva got here, Smith still got roughly 50-55 minutes.
Today he got 28mins. Da Silva seems to be steadily getting more minutes. So yeah that's odd considering he was pretty good last year.
As for the best team, I agree somewhat. Though I think signing Junior for one more year could be a mistake. If he got a great middle and maybe another, then we can replace him. Though if you get nobody and Paulo breaks down more next year, you are screwed.
Smith is a shadow of what he was. He used to lead the line speed and showed plenty of energy every game. He seems very flat so is he injured or what is going on.

That's exactly what we want we've shown our cards whose the long term guy at the spot and if Smith drops off and TDS rises that vindicates the recruitment decision of signing TDS to a long term deal and giving him the cash.We want TDS to earn and take those minutes off Smith.
He's playing next to some plodders in the middle. He's already undersized and they field 4 backrowers next to him.
The club is broken. R&R have decimated our roster since 2022. Reed Mahoney was the start of it. Then players left in a procession replaced by not much. Allowing DB to get poached because we completely mismanaged his contract was unforgivable. Allowing Lomax to walk also ridiculous. We let Ice Papilli walk and look at him now. If I could be bothered I could write a comprehensive list of one fuck up after another. The result, as you've pointed out is a decimated sub standard roster. We're getting worse, not better. And they have the hide to call it a rebuild.
Unless we have changes at the top, we are going nowhere whatsoever. No one in power in our organization knows how to assemble a premiership roster. The logical thing is to bring someone in who does know how to do that. It really is that simple.
Instead, let's focus on everything else not NRL related. Did you see the school holiday kids clinic? Great turn out, lots of happy fans. This club really is going places. Oh look, Peter Wynn joined the Eels foundation. We just re-signed an NRLW player. Terrific stuff.

These guys or some of them should have stayed as eels, Reed,Dyl,Blaize,Kafusi, Stefano and Papalii should have been eels for long term. Yet these fuckers named Mark O'cuckneil and co have signed no one to suit the type of players these guys where. Our spine should still have been Dyl Brown, Moses and Mahoney, that is the biggest fuck up i've seen by a team ever in my life. Something is not mathing or the boys right now know MON and co are fucking hopless. And no i don't think this Ryles fault when he did try to recruit Galvin, Keaon, and others to come but those fuckers in the R&R are so cooked the coach and the team gave up already.

Sounding like a broken record, our recruitment stinks to high heaven. Most of our so called first graders will never play in other teams since they have much better player rosters. Again, it is MON's responsibility s HOF to find and convince good players to join the team. Years have passed that proves he had failed in his job since we cannot get our preferred players, only the ones that other clubs have discarded (except now with Sua). No great signings or 'rawk players that have been discovered had been discovered.
Retention of good players is another bs failure by these people.
