Oregon Kaufusi

" It's reported Oregon Kaufusi has not activated his player option with the Sharks for the 2025 season and is therefore a free-agent and able to sign with rival clubs. "  - Fox Sports

Should we go for him?

      • I don't believe we need another "slow moving dope" prop.

We owe him nothing unless he wants to come back and do a train and trial and start on a minimum with KPI's.

        • Would accept an option as well?

  • Wouldn't be the worst idea. And sign Tuku Hau Tapuha. Plus Felix Fa'atili (young RCG) and Richie Tupuailei (young Taumalolo) from their junior ranks.

    • YESS!!

  • I think he was doing quite well for us towards the end of his time. Would defo take him.

  • JR would certainly at polish his game.

    • Actually we don't know that...... JR was not the most consistent player,

      • 271 NRL games, 15 matches for Australia. I think he might have some insight.

  • 2023 Oregon hell no.

2024 Oregon with a more mobile, stronger frame and a developing offload on a friendly contract hell yes

  • Looks like he took up his option today so he will stay with Cronulla until the end of next year
