Diesel, did you just arrive from the moon or something.....have a look at the injury list?
You ask the question what is our coach doing......??? Do you have some advice because your commentary is quite specific.....lets assume by the way and accept we need 3/4 frontline players after we get rid of some of the current deadwood.....bit difficult to do that on the 31st May and its not like going to the shops and picking the best brand/model.
PS If he cant deliver he should go?.....mitigation? and who would you replace him with who is realistically available?
Are you blaming him for an injury list that is worse than I can remember going back to around 1960? Ever heard of throwing the Baby out with the bathwater?......lots of questions there Diesels?
NRL is a contact sport, so if you don't have a strategy to handle constraints, then you're not any good. Every year, we seem to face an injury crisis. Why? What is the fitness coach doing?
Are we implying we don't have a decent coach apart from Ryles? Why should we keep players or coaches who can't deliver? No doubt, our club seems to be a breeding ground for has-beens and rejects.
Until we start winning some battles in the middle of the park all teams have to do to beat us is roll through the middle and complete it's a simple equation. We are so soft in the middle of the park.I'm seeing it every single week and this goes back to before the injuries hit we are getting rolled for the most part every week.
Until this changes the good effort JR has us competitive feel good vibe while losing will be a common one.
Our spines a mess the onfield leadership and direction is flip a coin.
We are basically a one man show without Moses this teams done.
Like I said 2-3 signings of elite players in prominent positions we win that game without Moses. Moses is the cherry on top because without elite players he could have won us the game easily.
The club's biggest problem is us. We accept mediocre performance and make excuses for losses. I have stopped watching NRL; I just look at the score every weekend. That is the value I place on NRL, especially our club. If they don't care about us, neither should we. Our emotions and loyalty shouldn't be taken for granted. Right now, that's what our club is doing. Spending 30 bucks to see our team lose to Newcastle? Sorry, not worth it. If that makes me not an ideal supporter, so be it.
I think you mean the fans who aren't making those in the club, especially around recruitment and retention accountable. Those so called fan sites accepting this mediocrity are the fans you should be concerned about.
Not the fans who are supporting Ryles - who had half the team out injured or first game back from operations.
Sarantinos for mine hasn't the capacity to make the tough decisions
"Wasn't their rumours about the players disliking Jim because his inept ability to sign anyone. I guess the more things you see and hear the more and brighter things become clear. Poor MON, maybe the guy tries to sign some stars but our ceo is tight…"

Mate you said you don't even watch games anymore, let me argue with someone that has some skin in the game.

Effort 7, ability 5, smarts 2
It's a sad reflection of where this club is and what small aspersions we have that a 4 point loss is seem as a good thing.
Yes were hit with injuries but the depth and quality is so low I see glimmers of hope but nothing to get my hope up.
The club problem is Sarantinos and O’Neill.
