Someone should ask him why we're losing games. No more stray answers; they no longer cut it. Para is not a welfare club. Why are players making mistakes? Ask some tough questions, for God's sake.
I hear what you are saying, and you are right, but that sounds like what we said in the early 90s when we never expected to come close to winning games. As a club we do need to be so much better than what has been dished up this season. There has been some good things, but there has also been some really bad errors and poor decision making. It's hard to see things getting much better in coming years without some very key signings.
Agree, thought they played well considering the injuries and continual swapping and changing of players some out of position. They had the game won except for some really costly errors, poor passing and frantic play especially in the early 2nd half. Frustrating really and to make it worse the Melbourne Storm will now leap frog Parra on the NRL ladder
Joash should stop as if he is playing backyard footy. His no look passes had caused us some games. His trying to milk a penalty for a 'strip' is very amateurist. He's given his all but need to clean up these errors and actions. It was a game we could have won.
there is a formula there for us, Ryles knows what he is doing. We are missing a few talented players in order for us to actually end some games off. We aren't far off but we are close. Kitione played well and Smarani, Joash starting to become a prominent player in our squad. Harrison Edwards did well for his first stint, Williams aimed up, Tuivati will get better as time goes on.
Fundamentally I agree ( I was hoping that no look pass was out of his system), I was delighted to see those two selected to play as our halves yesterday, Pezet was not the answer and his injury was a blessing.....If Volkman and Pappy could have improved their performance by 5% each, it would have been enough to launch a platform for the many opportunities presented.
Unfortunately they are Reserve Grade Players filling in for a crisis and they just lack that key aspect of the "spine" being neglected.....the fullback was returning and overall if his defence was 10% better, 2 different tries would not have been scored, maybe 3. Don't worry about the lack of speed in that chase, back from a leg injury he will be a couple of months getting back to his best pace, just remember though that he has never had the blinding type of pace that his young peers are showing. He is quick as any for about 10 metres, after that he is no where near as dangerous. That would be enough if you have speed to support him but the backline with the exception of JAC has no follow through speed support.
This is who we are. We'll always be proud, no matter the result. Bloody hell. We're losing to Newcastle. What's wrong with you all? No doubt we're a hopeless rubbish team. Same crap every weekend. And we have to be proud of it. Good effort doesn't get us to the final, lads. The result is what counts. What have we become, unbelievable?
So now the knights are the top 4 team. If we cannot beat a top 4 team, then what is our coach doing? Every season we hear this: we cannot beat Team A because they are a top 6 team, we cannot beat Team B because they are a top 4 team. When do we become a top <number> team? It seems every decent club is becoming a top <some number> team. Ryles is turning into a Brad Arthur now, trying to rely on past laurels. If he can't deliver, he should go.
Diesel, did you just arrive from the moon or something.....have a look at the injury list?
You ask the question what is our coach doing......??? Do you have some advice because your commentary is quite specific.....lets assume by the way and accept we need 3/4 frontline players after we get rid of some of the current deadwood.....bit difficult to do that on the 31st May and its not like going to the shops and picking the best brand/model.
PS If he cant deliver he should go?.....mitigation? and who would you replace him with who is realistically available?
Are you blaming him for an injury list that is worse than I can remember going back to around 1960? Ever heard of throwing the Baby out with the bathwater?......lots of questions there Diesels?

"Not only do we want to compete now, we want to win. The days of just competing are over. Ryles has to prove he's worth it. No more hiding behind injuries. This is a contact sport, and if you don't plan for injuries, you're not a proper NRL coach. "
"NRL is a contact sport, so if you don't have a strategy to handle constraints, then you're not any good. Every year, we seem to face an injury crisis. Why? What is the fitness coach doing?
Are we implying we don't have a decent coach apart from…"
"I think you mean the fans who aren't making those in the club, especially around recruitment and retention accountable. Those so called fan sites accepting this mediocrity are the fans you should be concerned about.
Not the fans who are…"

Knights are top 4, they arent a push over squad...
