I think you are over analysing a very good game.....to make a statement about Munster's and Hughes kicking game limitations is difficult to come to terms with.
Before saying all the things right Brisbane did and the wrong things about Storm..... I think you need to go to the mark with 2 minutes to go and Paperhouzen was going to score the matchwinner and Walsh hit him with one of the best front on tackles you are going to see!
Then we would be talking about the things wrong Brisbane did and the right for Melbourne.
I supported Bronco's through the last 4 games where they got out of intensive care and won, arguably had no right to do so. Coryn's comparison to Haynes 2009 feats were justified but JH couldn't do it when it countered, same coach and opposition and Walsh still did it. ie. Bellamey closed down Jarryd but not able to do that to Walsh.
My observations are not emotionally based, just biased and I would take JH over Walsh forever, no where near the feelings if Parra had done the same run and won it..... Full marks to Brisbane, their coach, the Churchhill medal winner and special mention to Carrigan and Staggs.
"I wouldn't say Reece done it all his own, yes in the red zone he was amazing and defensively great but with Payne Haas, Pat Carrigan, Kobe Hethrington's best game, the wingers were outstanding, the centres fantastic and the rest of the pack toiling…"

My main point it's athletes beat a system.
We went well against Brisbane but if we ran into that playoff Brisbane they street us by 20.
The only thing I disagree with is Munster and Hughes's limited kicking game.
Outside of that pretty much agree with you we are just looking t different points is all.
