They are not the reason why broncos have beaten teams and never have been. The worry is Fafita and Hass. Maybe Ofengaue if he plays. Fafita and Hass have been winning all their games for them. We need to get up in thier faces quick and shut down any momentum
One can only hope that NB has his aggression under control, perhaps he could do that by lowering the sights on his gun in order to ensure the target is put down rather than taken out, as a team he is needed for any following games.
The BW aspect may be a big part but, should not expect a repeat of the last game between the two at home, also the middle 40minutes will be crucial as will the bench selection, but sadly I do not see much of a change there.
Spot on brissyeel. His line speed will help stop them. Hoping Evans gets a down grade as his big body will be helpful against them too. However we need to play out in the backs a bit more. Thats where our strength is
To be honest I'm more worried about our ball control than anything. At times we can be guilty of some soft turnovers.
I also hope the refs don't give soft penalties to the Broncos allowing them to get out of their own half which is something that can tend to happen to us as well.

They have trouble scoring points and that line up doesn't offer much in way of threats. We scored more tries then them last game and they only really had 2 great attacking plays all game. 1 led to fifitas try and 1 to a field goal so if our discipline is good we can limit their ability to get close to our line to score a try.
In a day game at Bankwest we should be able to score more than the 3 tries we did at Suncorp and I can't see broncos scoring 3 unless our foward pack crumble which considering we have brown returning I don't see happening.
The big match ups for us are Shaun Lane v Jake Turpin & Waqa Blake/Manu Ma’u v Shibasaki/Boyd.
If we win those match ups I can’t the Broncos really troubling us.
Gus made an interesting point last night about how fast we start games, he said that the Eels are the fastest starters in the game. We need to get the quick early ball to our strike players out wide.

Brett, good post, while what Gus said is good, I sort of wonder if they fade early as a result which leads into the middle 1/4 where we drop off somewhat???
Watching what I see with the eels and other teams who win is the way they move the ball from side to side and on the run, it makes it hard for the opposing forwards and tires them faster. In saying all that, they will no doubt be very wary of the two primary mules forwards especially Fifita with his change of directions in his runs, a hard player to pull down, once he's running that way.
"I did some clicking to see if he was for real and try to find a price... what I found looked more like grifting, or a cry for help....like a Chris Sandow clinic"
"Commitment doesnt just mean competing on the field. Lomax had personal ambitions on and off the field. Theres no secret amongst the league he marches to the beat of his own drum.
He still wanted to play centre. Hes the only person in the rugby…"
"Maybe he need's you as his Manager Randolph....about time you did something positive and good, rather than disapearing behind that BONG!
Sort of says something about you as well, going to some effort to "white ant" seems a little too familiar!"

Yay, what happened to McCullougch? Turpin is not a half, nor is Boyd.

Too True on both accounts MB.
We did a job on Hass last time, but then watched fafita ww cannot afford to do that!
