Who offered him it tho?
fk it chuck 3M at him if brisbane offered 2.5.
we need him bloke built the dolphins, warriors and now Newcastle
Sadly we will always be behind the money Brisbane can offer, but let's be honest here, Broncos have honestly fumbled the bag with the amount of talent they have at their disposal and still can't get it right.
brisbane have shareholders who expect a dividend every year, throwing stupid money at him might get the board voted out
100% should have offered more. Thats spare change for Broncos.
Poor disclosing the amount offered, and which party would do that?? Unless it's to verify why they didn't continue to persue.
hope it wasn't us to disclose coz I think we need to get back to shutting up.
Sounds like something we'd do . " we missed the best but wasn't through lack of trying " . Desperate measures, expecting failure .
Just checked its the broncos who offered 2.5mill over 5 years
Considering our whole coaching staff should be on milk money. I'd be comfortable investing that , and some , in a good recruiter. You'll save whatever we pay him in getting the players offers and contracts on the money. The DylBoobs thing aside which is open to the question if he'd do it again in hindsight knowing a proper coach was arriving . He's mostly got it right for most of his career . Even if Browns was a lapse in judgement , the fact they don't need him and still made a GF is enough for me.
Im damn sure we won't be targeting dickheads like Jonah Pissant to keep Braith Anastas wage healthy.
Spot on
