As you can see by the names on the list we have many injuries which has resulted many RM players in this team.

At fullback there is no Twiddle, Papaii or Martyn so Z Hunter is there as the 4th choice.
There is no AMS, Russel (in NRL for Lomax) or Dunster (not sure what happened to Dunster again!!!) so Newlands played.
There is no Volkman so M Hunter is the 5/8. Chosen over Lynn.
In the forwards there is no Grieg, (suspended), Pryke (concussion), Lane (leave),Tuilagi (suspended), Doorey (in NRL for Tuivita), Keir, Lussick, T Brown (all injured)

So as you can see the list of unavailable players is massive. 15 Players !!!

After 2 try savers from Z Hunter. Eels go left and M Hunter puts Nanva away who draws and passes the fullback to Zac Hunter in for a try. Dogs bombed another try instead of drawing and passing th eplayer hogs it. Next play they throw it into touch

Also been watching RM. Hayne still has it. If he lost weight he would easily be able to play NSW Cup still.

Eels get good field position. Matto cuts back leff and manges to find an offload to Latu. He does great work to catch and pass to Nanva. He draws in defenders with a left foot step before flinging the ball to Tago who catches the ball after the bounce and dives to score in the corner. 10-0 after 23min

After a penalty eels are in good field position. Eels go right and Hawkins goes short to Carty who flicks a offload with the flick and Z Hunter is in support to score.

Dogs fake kick on the last. Their 5/8 did well. Not sure about Hands tackle attempted on Hutchinson. Was pathetic.

  Penalty fo the kcik off. Dogs shift right. Dogs split eels between M Hunter and Nanva. Hunter is struggling in defnece. They draw and pass the fullback to score. 14-12.

Carty goes the short side. Not sure what happened. NEwlands either drops it or the bulldogs player hits the pass down. The ref thinks its the former and the bulldogs winger picks up the ball and runs 50m to score. Penisninto slow to try make the cover tackle. 14-24
