Ok so if this is real and accurate someone please explain how the Roosters are cap compliant. They have 8 players earning a total of $5.810 million. That leaves $3.990 million to divide amongst 22 players. That’s an average of $181,364 per player. Players not in the Top 100 such as Jake Friend, Tupou, Morris Twins, Ryan Hall, Kyle Flanagan, Aubusson, Butcher, Liu, Collins earn an average of 180k? However I’m sure it’s legit and Uncle Nick has a very good explanation.
They are never cap compliant! And now are buying SBW!
That said, they do have access to a lot of lucrative TPA's with Uncle Nick's business connections. Which, in itself, is a hopeless skewing of a system that was supposed to introduce parity of spending for the 16 teams!
What I don't understand is why any front rowers would remain at or sign with the panthers knowing RCG is taking $250k of the front row budget for the next four years.
He won't be the best front rower, but will still be very good. Gus has to praise RCG, and the same thing he does with Waqa Blake. He has to try to convince people he invested in them well when he was at panthers otherwise he looks like a bigger fool.
"Well there we go truth is out there luv our belief was right all along! Good on him for keeping it under wraps thru all the shit he copped from those that couldn't see...shame on club at time!
thanks"
"When you change coaches you need to expect some players to chase the money elsewhere because there is no relationship with the new coach. Ryles is now building the squad with the players that fit his style. It's nobody's fault, it's just how it goes."
"Having talent and knowing how to teach that talent to others are completely different skillsets.
A lot of the best coaches weren't very good players, and a lot of brilliant players aren't good coaches."
"Thanks Ben, great posts? maybe? but questions not answered......Bluey maybe right....we should shoot them all.....but who do we end up with then? Chiefy is the standout....he has made the stupidist comment yet....that gives him a walk up to go on…"

I believe the Morris twins, Flanagan, Aubusson, Butcher, Liu & Collins are all on sub 250k, but not Friend, Hall & Tupou.
Morris Twins have been widely reported as $275k each
And add to that Cronk and Mitchell last two years. 1 mil for Cronk 650 for Mitchell. Nothing to see here.

There wasn't a lot of love for RCG when he signed with us. The reason we're going so well and winning these tight games is down to our bookends.
its been an eternity since the Eels have had a good prop rotation and that's reflected in where we are on the table.
They care how much they're getting more than how much other players might be getting paid.
