            • Mitchy i am a bit lost as it seems you are disagreeing with me when you and i are on same path. All i said about Sheens was he was meant to be a place holder to give Marshall time to get used to coaching and the plan was thrown out pretty much before 2023 finished.

I agree, the issues with like Doueihi and even Galvin leaving along with Da Silva do not happen nor happen to the extent in which they happened if Sheens was in charge.

              • LB, mate its all ok. I am just making a point that Benji is a rookie; and Sheensy for all his worth was a wise statesman; and that some of these issues that have occurred may not have if Sheens was there.

All ok, and this is not AI generated. I also only argue with myself!

  • Again I think Sheens like Marshall has been setup to fail.

I mean they had Hagipantelis and Pascoe to start this rebuild and have only had Richardson there for the last 12-18 months to undo and repair what's already been done.

If Sheens has failed Maguire fired how is Marshall meant to succeed there. It wouldn't matter who goes there they aren't succeeding as currently built off the park. It's much like it was here before the administrator and Gurr were here it was a poison challis. You could put the best coach in the nrl there without the no how behind the scenes your cooked that's the bottom line at the Tigers. It's not about Marshall doing his time it's about getting there off the field in the right place to go out nd find the right man for the job.I think Sheens walked because he understood very early how much trouble they were really in and how long it would take.Throw in his age and who wants the stress seriously.

Your starting to see it with Marshall and Seibold both head coaches who while committed aren't all the way give every minute of their life to it and when your at clubs who need that well it exasperates the off field also.A team like the Tigers need everything to go right for them to succeed not one hiccup and that's just not happening there.

    • At the same time Sheens was never the plan moving forward, he was a part of the setup for Marshall. Yeah Sheens was not given a good run but it didn't matter as he was not in the plans anyway. Tigers should have kept Sheens for 2024 and Marshall takes over this year. If they had say Josh Hannay under Sheens then yeah you could make the switch quicker as Hannay has runs on the board as an assistant and also as an interim coach where he dealt with media and that.

      • What say Sheens had seen enough and knew working under the last regime the writing was on the wall.Until we know why Sheens left we can all but speculate. What we do know is hagipantelos and Pascoe were hot garbage no head coach they've had under them has succeeded we no this maybe Sheens saw the writing on the wall.

  • How can the tiger be over the cap and Dogs not something snells fishy

    • Easy, they have overpaid on every signing. Bud Sullivan got 4-5 year contract on massive money and he is loaned out to souths. Da Silva was on 450k next year!!!!! He is a kid in reserve grade. Wonder what top 17 are all on

    • Let's say it was a cap thang, 100% of the time Cap rorts are only discovered when a whistleblower calls it out. Canterbury right now are tight as a fishes arsehole , wheras the Tigers would have no shortage of disgruntled ex employees.

The only way Canterbury are getting done is if the taxman or the law  goes through Laundy or The Dibbs .

      • I bet one day Dogs will get find out they over the cap mite not happen today or tomorrow or next week but it will happen its just a matter of time

Some one will have a fall out with them with all the information and they will tell the NRL

It happen all the time it happen to us the Storm Bulldogs before it will happen again
