So you don't live in the area but are trying to tell people it's not a good area?
Redcliffe's a nice area and easy to sell to a prospective player. Western Sydney's the exact opposite.
Thats why we need the best of the best Ceo's and Head of footballs. Not some stooges who come in fresh off managing the chicken rotisserie. Parramatta are one of the most profitable clubs in Sydney, We can fckn afford the best of the best

Dumbass, we have one of the best stadiums with exceptional corporate facilities for a start. a highly profitable supportive leagues club , have always been a well supported club membership wise and attendance wise, good corporate backing throughout the Parramatta city geographic advantage of essentially a one city team, over say wests ot the sharks who don't have a city advantage.
Its not all down to Sarantinos mate. If Parramatta were thriving on the park, it would probably double our economical advantage, but right now, we're a bottom rung club thanks to his involvement

Well we had plenty riding that "broomstick" as his predessers.....some really big names there, could you restate your qualifications to make that judgement and also his earnings as apparently we paid too much for him as well.
I agree Redcliffe is a nice area, especially to bring up a young family. Selectively just the same as Parramatta.
I think you are much too harsh in generalising Western Sydney.....North Rocks, Carlingord, Castille Hill, West Pennant Hills, Kellyville all present good quality housing and proximity to many quality things, moving out into the acreage areas of Windsor/ Glenhaven and the Hawkesbury is extremley attractive.......I could make a case for some surrounding suburbs in Redcliffe that are pretty old and house commission stylish as well.
Presumably the Islanders are very happy living in the, shall we say less salubrious parts of Western Sydney with family but making your point the way you have is disingenous. Just Remember there are no surf beaches in Brisbane's Moreton Bay, including Redcliffe, sign in at low tide and you will see lots and lots of mud flats just the same. Trips to the surf in Brisbane would be longer than driving from North Rocks (my last residence in Sydney 1980) to say Harboard beach.....long time ago but I went from Epping (born) to Harboard in 20 minutes in my old 59 VW beetle back in the day.
You use the "easy to sell" whereas I would qualify that and say by good sales people in both vicinities.
I would aknowledge that the perceptions are very different to the facts in the face value knowledge of the unwashed, but I think Parra needs to resell that image and show it as a lie.....first thing would be a glossy colour print of some of the multi million properties that Parra does have and the locale with access to all the amentities, that such a large city has.
I think Parramatta is the 4th/5th largest city in Australia, my guess is that the unwashed, unfamilar group that maybe your audience would have no knowledge of that.
Maybe you don't either Bob, where do you live Hornsby, North Shore..... neither not a huge distance from Parramatta.
Hammer and Herbie are top priority for the Dolphins, Bostock is surplus to their needs.
