The penalties are confirmed. But three things have to happen right now;
1. Not only does the gang of five have to walk away after being deregistered but the remaining board members Tanya Gadiel, Andrew Cordwell, Paul Garrard and Geoff Gerard must put the best interests of the club first and resign today.
We can b!tch and scream all we like about Greenturd but he made it clear this morning he cannot work with the remaining board. Indeed he said that none of our officials have worked with the NRL with a view to moving forward.
2. Bevan Paul as CEO of the Leagues Club must stop providing legal fees to the gang of five. It is clear that any further legal action is a waste of our money. They have been defeated in the Federal Court and the NRL on appeal. Enough is enough. We must move forward.
3. Greenturd said they are willing to work with the "RIGHT" group seeking power to the Eels board. Chris Losco should be on the phone to Greenturd today putting forward the merit-based EGM proposal.
We can wallow in the mire of this salary cap business and penalties or move forward for the benefit of our great club.
Time to move forward.

#New board + Re sign Arthur.

Jimmy, I agree with a lot of what you have said.
I don't with point 2 though. Parra weren't defeated on the substantive issue in Federal Court, just about a minor point about whether the NRL were entitled, under their own laws, to do as they did. The decision was not about whether the evidence was set up and unfair and this is the major point. Parramatta needs to fight this and clear its name and show that many of the penalties applied are not applicable.
As for the actions of Gerard. Considering the time he has been a director. He needs to be the first to go!
Moving forward is not rolling over to the NRL. Sure get a new board and don't elect the old board.
If we roll over we will always be the easy touch. Would the Broncos, Bulldogs or the Roosters roll over and say "do whatever you want to us we won't stand up for ourselves?" We need the evidence tested by an impartial court.
Agree Elvis, we need clarity over whether TPAs, some or all, have been guaranteed by Club, only a court of law would be impartial enough to give us an honest appraisal. This effects the next 2 years and is a must to determine.
I am 100% behind Chris and his proposal.

really learn alot more.
As what Chris has, put out
on the table sounds great.
Parramum... Cheers!
