So as has become apparent recently we are having some new website banners being uploaded daily on the site. I was thinking that we could accept new banner ideas up until the 14th of December after which no more entries will be accepted.
I could then collate all the pictures into one blog and voting is opened for that week with the winner announced on New Years Eve. The new banner would then most likely take its place early in the new year when Phil has the time to upload it.

Im calling for a banner with explicit pictures of nude women, i recon it would top the votes too, Jamesy or Bargearse can you guys knock up a banner with some triple x action, maybe a few toys involved too, cheers
I like your thinking Snake although a topless Tim Mannah posing on a couch with a big smile would be the go. "George Castanza style"
I was more thinking of girl on girl action-The Manly cheerleaders all snuggling up to the Sharkie Cheerleaders in their sexy lingerie...Think I might take a cold shower
So people just thought I'd bump this. Anyone who wants their banner designs to go in the running has until December 14th to upload them to the main site. I have downloaded all banners that are currently uploaded. On December 14th entries will close and I will open a blog featuring all uploaded banners to be voted on until the 21st December.
Cant we have some of the candidates put up for a week or a couple of days so we can better judge + it gets rid of the old banner now.
We cant have a script that selects a random banner from a pool or banners created each time you visit the site rather than 1 banner?
Even if its a gif image and it is the 1 banner that plays?
The issue with a script is that I don't have access to the code and I don't think Phil does either. The gif image is a little bit gimicky. We'll more than likely go with some previews over the next few weeks and then we'll decide on a winner.
It would be good to see if the club would engage with this supporters web site
No, there's nothing to stop the club interacting with its fan sites. Fanlink was a great example of that, and we'll explore a few of those opportunities in the new year when I'm not so busy and football is a bit closer.
However, there's really nothing in it for the club to promote something that is specific to this site. It would need to have wider benefits to the broader Eels community for me to propose something like that.
