I'm a massive fan of Nathan Peats - i personally think he should be signed to the club on a long term deal. He is however appearing to become injury prone and i feel its the way he plays the game, he throws his body around like it means nothing to him.
Is it worth BA having a talk to him about being smarter when it comes to his body and recovery.

Im sure they would have talked about his playing style and injury prevention, but you could be very well right, he might be injury prone, time will tell, i think he needs to work more on his running from dummy half and his attack, hes a great defender but his attacking game has gone backwards imo.
Im looking forward to a big year from him next year.
One of the things that make him a good player is that he's willing to put his body on the line. If he cuts that out he may not be as effective. Hope he has a bit of luck next year and remains injury free. A lot of the time injury just comes down to luck
To be honest, I think this is an issue for our entire squad. We played very physical this year and subsequently almost all our forwards played busted for much of the year.
Maybe, BA needs to have Peatsy defending a little bit more like IDG. IDG made an enormous difference for us in terms of linespeed and chopping players down. Peats tends to defend in the line and defends like a typical forward which can't be easy given that he's giving up 10+kg on the blokes he's tackling.
Agree - the injury toll this season was unprecedented.
I wouldn't go as far as saying he is injury prone he has had two really unlucky injuries and they were both completely different injuries. I think that last year by far was Peatsy's best year until he did his ACL. I think that effected is attacking game this year. Saying that he is still a warrior and deserves to be offered a new deal by this club because he is by far the best hooker we have had at Parra for a long time.
IDG is supposedly retiring. King is not known at first grade level, certainly not as a starting hooker.
Fingers and toes crossed for an injury free run for these guys playing in this vital position.
Cody Nelson filled in brilliantly against the dragons this year. I know in the modern game you need a specialist No.9 but as interim solution, he might be the way to go. Solid defender as well.
