Big Nelson has been given the green light to find a new club by the Storm. If the price is right maybe Ryles can get something out of the big fella. On his day can be a damaging middle. In other news Ado Carr is the latest target of R360 but it just says they have contacted him. Doubt he'd ever take that up

Lindsay Smith i would throw very good money at. Henry would be cheaper and would look at him too but Perth more likely beckons for him.
All three would make our 17. Henry is young and has been improving each year. Makes great impact. Lindsay Smith doesn't get the accolades, but his type is needed in every team. Sorensen i don't think we'll be after him. We have back rowers who are as good if not better
Big boppers are done move on
I'd still take Kikau .
If you listen to the experts and those in the know on 1EE.
We have no cap money left. The idea of buying a name player is mute, unless we can move some of our non performers, we have what we have with some youngsters on minimum coin promoted i guess.
I'd love to know how we have spent our cap, after moving on so many huge salaries. Weird or bad management, or is it that we actually do have cap space.
It's the media claiming we've spent our cap, nobody on here that I've seen can figure out where it's gone if true.
Bluey, We don't know exact salaries. But know we (1) have around 2 spots or so left, (2) so must have money left, (3) must spend min.97.5% & (4) probably are leaving money aside for mid-season opportunities.
Where did Dylan's money go? Hypothetically, let's assume he was on 900K for 2025. It's not all on JDB, right?
Note: 400K is an average NRL contract value. For an average player.
Cheaper side
El Cheapo Scrooge Scenario: Living the Dream (0.1% probability)
Here we assume we got TDS, JDB, Dylan Walker, JAC for dirt cheap, and Ryley signed an NRL contract which was barely above the minimum 140K.
It’s a fair assumption there would be some upgrade on a player’s CO (club option) contract. Other players in the squad, such as Isaiah Iongi, Joash Papali'i, Jordan Samrani, Jack Williams, Sam Tuivaiti are assumed not to have any ratchet clauses or upgrades in their contracts for 2026 from 2025, despite the increase in the salary cap. A big leap of faith.
The only way we could get spare change off Dylan is if he was on $1m plus (unlikely) and everyone above was signed dirt cheap - barely above minimum base wage (140K) and went machette style on all those new players listed above.
And we say our admininstration are cheapskates...
